Sony is showing off what it claims is the world’s first flexible OLED display. Sony has found a way to manufacture the displays with a flexible plastic instead of glass. The results as shown in the embedded video are quite remarkable.

The 2.5 inch display is reported to weigh a measly 1.5 grams(0.053 ounces). It will be interesting to see what kind of applications this will have. Maybe I’m not very creative, but I can’t seem to think of too many uses that a flexible display would have.
