Fujitsu is now offering what is being called the “smallest-ever” official convertible tablet PC. It offers a 5.6 inch, 1024×600 display and can be folded to offer up its built in keyboard in a tiny laptop configuration. It will eventually be available in three main configurations. The standard model will come with 512MB of RAM, a 20GB 1.8-inch hard drive, and Windows XP Professional and should be available for purchase in June. At the same time, a model will be available with 1GB of RAM. In July, it is expected that a model shipping with Windows Vista Business will be available. The units will provide up to 8 hours of battery life, thanks in part to its energy efficient Intel 800Mhz A110 ultra-mobile CPU.
