Here is a desktop computer that makes the Mac Mini seem like a behemoth. The Linutop system here features an AMD Geode CPU and 256MB RAM. It runs Linux for an operating system with Firefox to browse the internet and Abiword to create your text documents. All of this at only 280 grams(.617 pounds).

Something like this may be an option for those that are only interested in browsing the internet, using email, and creating free and open standard documents. I’m wondering how easy this will be to update the software. Hopefully it is as easy as a Debian based distribution, otherwise they have left out a huge portion of their potential market.
