For those with a penchant for “The Finer Things”, Asus has launched a series of laptops bound in hand-embossed leather.

The W6 with a 13.3 inch wide screen, and the S6 with a 11.1 inch wide screen, offer up luxury in a compact size. Besides the screen size, both laptops come with a choice of processors. The W6 is available with a choice of an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile, Intel Core Duo Processors T2300/ T2400/ T2500 (W6F), and Intel Core2 Duo Processors T5500/ T5600/ T7200 (W6Fp-). While the S6 is available with either an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile or an Intel Core processor L2300/ L2400.

The S6, which has been available for a while, is now also offered in a “limited pink edition” as seen above. From the Asus web site, “The unique texture of leather instantly breathes glam and warmth into the otherwise cold and mechanical notebook.” Glam indeed.
