Are you interested in a new laptop this holiday season? You want one for dirt cheap? Circuit City may have a deal for you.
There appears to be something of a price war going on for laptops at the moment. Wal-Mart and Staples have recently come out with inexpensive laptops, but Circuit City is apparently doing its best to one-up them. According to Black Friday Circuit City will be offering up Compaq laptops with a Celeron M processor, 15.4 inch LCD, 512MB ram, 60GB hard drive, DVD-RW, and Wireless for a paltry $99. Does this sound too good to be true? Well, it is, sort of. Of course there is a catch with a deal like this. However, the catch may not be that bad. The catch is that you need to sign up for 12 months of phone service through Vonage. However, if you are in the market for phone service anyways, why not consider signing up with Vonage, and pick up a laptop for only $99?
The price for the laptop in question is $299 after rebates without the 12 month Vonage subscription.
